The WSJ Cover Story for Pacific Palisades Homes Destroyed during Historic California Wildfires features The Dragon. Journalists Sarah Paynter and Libertina Brandt for the Wall Street Journal kindly reported on the tragic loss of our Pacific Palisades property. The Dragon, a one-of-a-king custom home that took three years for builders JVE Development and Jae Omar Design to build, was completely burned down.

Jae Omar dubbed this property ODIN, inspired by Norse mythology. The story of ODIN coming to life is a myth in itself, chronicling the power of ancient myths to influence and build our own myths in the present. Scandinavian influence is apparent throughout the 18,000-square-foot residence, including neutral stonework, lighter-toned woods, clean lines, and plentiful places for sunlight to float in.
